LESSONS
We were all beginners once. For a lot of us we learned to skate by days and days of trial-and-error.
If we were lucky, we had an older skater show us the ropes and unlock our idea of what was possible
on a skateboard — and eventually that hard work paid off.
At Second Nature Skate Park we bring that experience to our lesson program and tailor each session
to a step-by-step approach based on each skaters age and experience level.
We offer a wide range of lesson options for individuals and groups.

I was born in Brooklyn, raised in White Plains and got introduced to skateboarding from watching it on tv and then I got the Tony Hawk
pro skater game for playstation when i was about 8-9 years old.
Soon after, I convinced my mom to get me a board but I was just making bad habits and getting hurt. Quit around 10 years old. Only did team sports and martial arts for years. Â
In college a coworker challenged me to come see him and friends at the skatepark—see if I could still ollie. Once I could, another friend taught me to kickflip, thus my love for this sport/lifestyle came back like a flood.
I’ve been teaching lessons both group and private/semi-private for about 6 years now.
